H&F Credit Union is a brilliant new not-for-profit financial co-operative serving anyone who lives or works in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
We provide a range of financial services to the community; including ethical savings, affordable loans and a range of other services such as Christmas Savings Schemes, Child Trust Fund accounts as well as a range of insurance products.
H&F Credit Union is run by its members, for its members. We are a community organisation and any profits we make will be reinvested in our services or distributed fairly amongst our members. As a community organisation we depend on support from a number of community organisations and volunteers. It took five years of hard work to create H&F Credit Union and we'll always be part of our local community.
Our first service was a Christmas Savings Scheme for employees of Notting Hill Housing started in January 2008. We were able to start the savings scheme in advance of our authorisation by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in March 2008 and opened our full range of services when we opened our office at 274 North End Road in November 2008.
